so i was layed off today, i’m really not that upset about it, cuz i hated my job anyway. just kinda sucks havin to find a new job for real now. at least i got a month of severance. so say it loud and proud with me… fuck digex!

I am about to start upgrading the hardware in the firewall. stvlive.com, half-asleep.com, and dollar25.org (including the stream) will all be down during this time. If all goes well (it never does), this should take no more than 30 minutes. If the shit hits the fan, it could be a few hours. I’ll post an update once we’re back.

Another Monday morning,…
I spent most of the weekend working on new forums for stvlive. I am very happy with how they have turned out so far. As always, there are a few bugs that I’m working on, ad Steph is still working on a few design elements. Overall though, it’s pretty much done. The members forums are not active yet, as I am still trying to figure out how I want to handle the authentication for access to them. I hope to have them working by the end of the week, but who knows.
I’m not going to be in the office all week, because I have a class to go to. I don’t know what I’m going to gain from this class, considering I don’t work directly with the product, but if my company wants to send me, I’m always willing to take a week off:of real work )

I haven’t been reading the news the past couple day’s, so this is the first I’ve heard about this horrible story. Not to get on a rant or start a debate, but I HOPE THIS FUCKING BITCH DIES! Someone needs to chase her ass around the house, and drown her in the bathtub. There is no excuse for her actions. I refuse to accept “postpartum depression” as a fucking disease. If you are “insane”, then you have no right to care for your children. They knew she had issues, she tried to kill herself previously, why the fuck would you let this woman take care of your children?!?!?
